Did you dodge her face out of shadow, or used a fill flash? Or did you just manage to make the sunlight fill all the shadows in her face?

I used a fill flash that was off at the right of the camera. I also did a little bit a dodging and burning to bring out the shape of her face cause the flash left it pretty flat looking.
